My name is Shannon, and I live in Door County, Wisconsin.  I’m a 29 year old male who began chemically transitioning just over 2 years ago.  I have an amazing wife  of 5 years, who has given me wonderful children.  I work at a rehab/assisted living facility, and am pursuing a degree in nursing administration.  I love dancing, swimming, snowboarding, playing soccer, and going to the movies and theatre.  I’m just a good old boy who loves my family, attends church, works hard, and plays hard.

I’m a self made man very happy in the path I’ve chosen for myself. Married to the best woman in the world. Blue collar carpenter , redneck, hockey player. Pretty much describes me. I love being outdoors and hanging with my animals and friends.

I am a pre-everything transguy. I am working on starting T. My wife is very supportive as well as our two children. I have also gotten a lot of support from my online friends. I tried to true to myself when I was about 12. I was denied that right. So I shut myself down and retreated into denial until I met my wife. It took a few years, but I have decided to be who I really am no matter what others think. One cannot live one’s life for others. I want my children to see me as a strong confident person who was true to himself.
